Schonfeld is seeking to build and support a centralized golden source of reference and master data to support various aspects of the business.
Requirements
- At minimum, seven years of OO development experience (Java highly preferred)
- Expertise with design and architecture (stateful reactive microservices experience preferred)
- Experience with relational databases
- Experience with messaging systems (Kafka preferred)
- Cloud services such as AWS
- Containerization and orchestration tools such as K8s
- DevOps methodologies such as CI/CD and build automation
Responsibilities
- Design and develop master data applications providing golden sources of data to the organization
- Collaborate with business users to analyze data problems and design solutions
- Enhance the tech stack by building microservices deployed to the cloud using K8s
- Contribute to firmwide frameworks and build reusable components
- Engage in Agile processes to continuously improve and expand platform capabilities
- Provide Level 3 support globally
- Lead strategic technical initiatives from start to finish
Other
- At minimum, seven years of experience in financial services
- At minimum, three years of experience supporting listed and OTC instruments typical in a Global Macro strategy
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience mentoring junior developers
- Strong ownership experience and a track record of delivering results
- Interest in or experience of finance markets, economics, or mathematics
