Sharetec is looking to modernize its 30-year-old product and write new features for its customers by hiring a Software Engineer.
Requirements
- 2+ years' experience as a software engineer
- Experience working with databases such as Progress OpenEdge, MySQL, Cassandra, MongoDB, PostgreSQL
- Experience with Agile Scrum
- Experience with the Angular Framework or equivalent JavaScript frameworks
- Experience with a major backend language like C-Sharp, C++, .Net, Ruby, Go
Responsibilities
- Document our processes, products, and APIs
- Assist with our releases and ensure we remain on schedule
- Participate in story pointing and estimation activities
- Review code and provide feedback/participate in pair programming
- Be an Agile Scrum advocate
- Help modernize and transform our existing software and write new features for our customers
- Write and maintain automated tests using tools such as Jest, Jasmine, Cypress, Telerik Test Studio, and Grafana k6
