Improve healthcare through technology by designing, building, and maintaining innovative tools that support PrimeCare Managers and our Accountable Care Organization (ACO) partners, directly improving care coordination, population health, and patient outcomes.
Requirements
- 5+ years in software engineering (e.g., JavaScript, HTML/CSS, Python, Java)
- Experience with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL)
- Experience building tools/programs that can interact with multiple APIs
- Knowledge of healthcare data exchange protocols and security best practices
- Familiarity with EHR systems, interoperability platforms, and cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Experience working as a lead or solo developer building a new system, tool, or app from scratch
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain secure, scalable healthcare applications and APIs
- Build web-based overlays that function across multiple EHRs to record HCC, Quality, and Utilization metrics and display them at the point of care
- Integrate data from EHRs, billing, and lab systems using healthcare standards (HL7, FHIR)
- Ensure HIPAA compliance and high data security standards
- Collaborate with clinical, administrative, and technical teams to deliver solutions that drive value-based care
Other
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills
- Healthcare IT or ACO project experience
