Create a new situational awareness technology for military vehicles using computer vision or AR/VR technologies in collaboration with Ft Belvoir’s C5ISR (DEVCOM) Command
Requirements
- Experience creating computer vision technology, AR/VR, or Extended Reality technology using Nvidia Cuda
- 1+ years of experience programming in C++ and Python in a Linux environment
- Familiarity with AI/ML techniques and applications
- Experience with Open Source YOLO
- Proficiency in GStreamer, FFMPEG, or VLC for video management
- Understanding of GPS PPS, PTP, NTP, IEEE 1588 protocols
- Hands-on experience with Ethernet switches, frame grabbers, ultra-high-speed camera systems
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement computer vision and AR/VR solutions for situational awareness in military vehicles
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and integrate new technologies
- Conduct research and stay updated on the latest advancements in computer vision and AR/VR
- Document development processes, code, and project updates
Other
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Eligibility for a US Secret Clearance
- Ability to work onsite in Sterling, VA with occasional work-from-home options
