Mochi Health is looking to scale its engineering team to support hundreds of thousands of users nationwide and improve the customer experience through data-driven services and systems.
Requirements
- 2+ years skilled in developing scalable, high‑performance systems for web and mobile applications.
- Proficient with modern toolchains and practices, including TypeScript, ESLint, CI/CD pipelines, and state‑management strategies for data‑intensive UX flows.
- Experienced in optimizing complex user interactions and crafting elegant, efficient solutions to challenging problems.
- Familiar with machine‑learning algorithms and low‑level development practices.
- Writing unit, integration, and end‑to‑end tests to ensure code quality and system stability.
- Creating clear docs, API specs, and runbooks to help teammates ramp up quickly and maintain systems effectively.
- Bonus: Experience with WebSockets and real‑time data, compiled languages, or healthcare‑focused applications.
Responsibilities
- Design, Develop, Improve, Maintain and Grow our expanding codebase - whether on the front or back end.
- Architect scalable and robust solutions to support hundreds of thousands of users nationwide.
- Drive best practices in performance, security and scalability as we rapidly scale over the next 6/12 months.
- Work hands-on with modern front-end and back-end tooling, component-driven architecture, and state management solutions.
- Optimize real-time interactions between patients, providers and pharmacies with a focus on accessibility and usability.
- Build out data-driven services and systems to bolster the customer experience.
- Influence engineering culture, fostering innovation and technical ownership within the team.
