Serco is seeking a Software Engineer to support the Federation Integration and Testing program for the United States Air Force (USAF) Combat Air Force (CAF) Distributed Mission Operations Network (DMON) program, enabling a worldwide distributed mission training capability.
Requirements
- Proficiency in C++ development using Visual Studio
- Familiarity with Git for version control
- Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes (K8s)
- Experience with Keycloak for identity and access management, including user federation and role-based access control
- Proficiency with Jenkins for CI/CD pipeline development and automation
Responsibilities
- Design, modify, develop, write, and implement software programming applications
- Support and/or install software applications and operating systems
- Participate in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing, and certification of software
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins to ensure high-quality code delivery and automated testing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile methodologies and ceremonies
- Utilize Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence) for project tracking and documentation
- May lead and direct the work of others; reports directly to a project lead or manager

- U.S. Citizenship and have an active Secret security clearance
- Experience on DoD programs and interaction with government stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude toward continuous improvement
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks effectively
- Must be willing to travel up to 10% of the time
