Walaris designs and develops AI-driven, software-defined, and hardware-enabled autonomous systems for defense and security applications. Our software platform uses artificial intelligence, sensor fusion, and edge computing to provide real-time situational awareness for air, land, and sea domains, enabling rapid decisions at machine speed.
Requirements
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a software engineer specializing in real-time, high-throughput data processing, ideally within AI-driven applications
- Knowledge of object-oriented software development, preferably in Python or C++
- Background in Linux-based development
- Proficiency in developing unit tests to ensure code quality
- Experience working with Docker or other containerization framework
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitLab pipelines or Jenkins
- Proficiency in frameworks such as PyTorch, Flask, GStreamer, and Deepstream
Responsibilities
- Develop real-time processing systems that leverage AI/ML for edge sensor signal processing, such as drone detection and automated target recognition.
- Continuously propose new concepts for our software architecture—particularly focused on back-end improvements—to enhance performance and meet evolving customer requirements.
- Integrate Walaris software and technology into military and commercial security systems to add autonomous capabilities and boost overall system performance.
- Participate in planning of development deliverables and review the work of peers to ensure quality and alignment with project goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that requirements from R&D, sales, and product management are fully integrated and effectively addressed throughout the development process.
