Requirements
- Object oriented programming language such as C++
- Building large-scale infrastructure applications
- Scripting languages such as Python, or JavaScript
- Designing, analyzing, and improving efficiency, scalability, and stability of various system resources
- Experience owning a component, feature, or system
- Experience to demonstrate skills in shipping high quality and reliability code, such as testing strategy, productionalization (monitoring, alerting, and troubleshooting) skills of large-scaled applications
- Providing high quality code review feedbacks and guiding other engineers in making proactive changes to improve system quality
Responsibilities
- Design core and backend software components, code using primarily C++ and Python, and interface with other teams to incorporate their innovations and vice versa.
- Conduct design and code reviews, analyze and improve efficiency, scalability, and stability of various system resources.
- Establish self as an owner of a particular component, feature, or system with expert end-to-end understanding.
- Successfully complete projects at a large scope while maintaining a consistent high level of productivity.
