Developing safe, reliable, compliant, and performant software for Yokogawa Fluid Imaging Technologies' suite of Flow Imaging Microscopes
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of software development methodologies, tools, and processes
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming principles
- 2+ years of experience with C++
- 2+ years of experience working with relational databases - MySQL/MariaDB preferred
- 1+ years of experience with GUI development -Qt preferred
- Familiarity with the use of debuggers
- Familiarity with Git, pull requests, and code reviews
Responsibilities
- Participate in all phases of product development from requirements definition to product release and maintenance
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure that products are designed and created with the highest quality standards
- Generate design and code documentation for new and existing code to ensure the quality and maintainability of software
- Identify, isolate, and resolve instrument and software failures
- Provide support to manufacturing and customer service staff

- A degree in computer science, information technology, a related field, or equivalent work experience
- Work in office environment
- Use telecommunication tools
- Work in an engineering laboratory and occasional laboratory and assembly production environment
- Lift an instrument (up to 50 lbs)
