Delta Dental Insurance Company is looking to build the Next Gen Applications & Products Suite, which requires a Software Engineer to design, build, configure, deliver, and maintain a highly scalable set of applications.

Requirements

  • Experienced with Oracle Application Development Framework (Oracle ADF) up to 12C.
  • Worked on Oracle Fusion Middleware.
  • Deep knowledge and working experience on Oracle ADF components (EO, VO, View Link, Entity Association, AM) and faces.
  • Worked on BPEL web services.
  • Experienced on Java and Spring Boot.
  • Experience with version control systems like SVN and GIT, enabling efficient handling of code merges, tracking of issues, and reverting to previous versions when necessary, which promotes a structured and organized development process.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases like Oracle or MySQL, including optimizing queries and ensuring data integrity, which are essential for the application's performance and reliability.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement large-scale distributed systems using Oracle Application Development Framework (Oracle ADF 11g, 12c);
  • Design and implement business features using ADF Faces, ADF BC4J, ADF Task flows and ADF bindings;
  • Develop applications in Java and SpringBoot;
  • Utilize Jenkins for continuous integration and continuous delivery to develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automate the testing and deployment process;
  • Utilize RESTful and SOAP web services development for creating robust and scalable web services that facilitate communication between distributed components of the application.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams, prioritizing tasks, and delivering incremental improvements to ensure timely and high-quality software releases.
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle Fusion Middleware and the ability to leverage middleware capabilities for seamless data flow, application connectivity, and enhanced performance, ultimately supporting the scalability and reliability of distributed applications.

  • Telecommuting permissible from any location within US.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams, prioritizing tasks, and delivering incremental improvements to ensure timely and high-quality software releases.
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, or related field and six (6) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the related role or job offered.
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States must be provided if selected for hire.
