Meta Platforms, Inc. (Meta) is looking to hire a Software Engineer to build the next-generation of systems behind Facebook's products, create web applications that reach millions of people, build high volume servers and working to help people connect with each other around the globe.
Requirements
- Coding high-volume software using primarily C++, Python, and Rust
- Linux kernel, Linux container, and BPF technology
- C++ and Python

Responsibilities
- Building the next-generation of systems behind Facebook's products, create web applications that reach millions of people, build high volume servers and working to help people connect with each other around the globe.
- Gather feedback and needs from partner teams and internal clients to assist and educate partner teams.
- Design features and systems, establishing milestones and timelines.
- Code improvements in C++, python & rust.
- Propose features, efficiency, reliability projects and align partners on solutions and approaches.
- Review technical designs and review peer’s code.
- Monitor, debug and fix system failures.
Other
- Bachelor’s degree (or foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, or a related field
- Completion of one university-level coursework, research project or internship must include experience in the following:
- $227,920/year to $240,240/year + bonus + equity + benefits
