Wells Fargo is seeking a Software Engineer to support applications key to the Home Lending customer experience during the lifecycle of a mortgage or home equity account.
Requirements
- 2+ years of Java based software engineering experience, or equivalent
- 1+ year demonstrated experience using generative AI for coding related tasks
- 1+ year experience supporting container based software running on Kubernetes
- Experience with Kafka
- Experience with testing frameworks such as Playwright and Karate
Responsibilities
- Design, code, test, debug, and document for low to moderately complex projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable Java-based applications and services
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards
- Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and production issues in a timely manner
- Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness
