Emerson is seeking a Software Engineering professional to support Analytical product manufacturing site implementations by enhancing skills in full-stack software development, focusing on improving manufacturing efficiencies, quality, and automation through custom in-house Manufacturing Execution Software application and database support.
Requirements
- Experience in software development and a good understanding of object-oriented design and analysis
- Experience with Microsoft development tools and the Windows operating system
- Working knowledge of C-Sharp, C++, C, .Net, SQL
- Familiarity with TFS Version Control and Azure DevOps
Responsibilities
- Work on full-stack software development using C-Sharp.Net and SQL
- Support a custom in-house Manufacturing Execution Software application and database
- Collaborate with the Manufacturing Engineering teams to develop software features to improve manufacturing efficiencies, quality, and automation
- Collaborate with a global team of software engineers on projects, production support, and software maintenance activities
- Develop and support software integration with equipment, devices, and systems
- Develop and document software designs using Object-Oriented techniques
- Manage source code using TFS Version Control and Azure DevOps
