Cisco Security Cloud is looking to improve the user experience across its portfolio by making its security products work together seamlessly, and the Common Services Platform Engineering team is responsible for delivering unified provisioning and Identity and Access Management (IAM) experience.
Requirements
- Strong experience designing and integrating REST APIs, with a solid understanding of secure development practices and common security vulnerabilities.
- Familiar with Git, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Proficient in working with both SQL and NoSQL databases
- Full stack development using GoLand and React (preferred).
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform preferred) and cloud-native development.
- Familiarity with event-driven architectures and messaging systems (e.g., Kafka, Kafka Streams).
Responsibilities
- Build components of the Common Services Platform to enable scalable and secure cloud deployments.
- Design and implement backend services and user interfaces for provisioning.
- Contribute to platform-level product provisioning systems that simplify product deployment and subscription lifecycle management.
- Develop high-availability APIs and developer-friendly tools that enable internal teams to innovate quickly.
- Improve platform observability and user/developer experience across the Cisco Security Cloud.
