Requirements
- strong foundation in software development
- background in object-oriented programming
- experience across the software lifecycle
- extensive experience (3+ or 5+ years) in software development, agile methodologies, and simulation environments is preferred
- Familiarity with modeling and simulation tools
- Familiarity with aircraft platforms
- Familiarity with industry-specific standards
Responsibilities
- Design and develop simulation models, virtual environments, and frameworks that accurately replicate aircraft systems and scenarios.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze simulation requirements, ensuring alignment with system dynamics and training objectives.
- Conduct validation and verification activities, including testing, benchmarking, and refining simulation software against real-world data.
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including algorithms, specifications, and user manuals.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate simulation software with hardware systems and other software components.
- Implement emerging technologies, tools, and frameworks to enhance simulation capabilities and performance.
- Identify opportunities for process automation, efficiency improvements, and innovative solutions.
