Northrop Grumman is seeking a Software Engineer for their GCCS-J program. GCCS-J is the Department of Defense (DoD) Joint Command and Control (C2) system of record, supporting commanders and warfighters in joint and multinational operations by providing a fused picture of the battlespace. The program focuses on meeting emerging operational needs through sustainment and synchronization support, modifying and enhancing elements or capabilities to implement new requirements, enhance functionality, increase efficiency, or lower operating/deployment costs by incorporating agile technologies and capabilities.
Requirements
- Software development experience on Global command and control system GCCS
- Experience with Ansible,
- Experience with bitbucket,
- Experience with git
- Experience with popular programming Languages such as Java
- Experience with various IDEs such as VSCode, Eclipse, Netbeans
- Rudimentary Linux and Windows System Administration skills
Responsibilities
- Follow Agile Development process and assist with full life cycle development: requirements, design, implementation, test, and maintenance
- Provide technical solutions, and assist the Government in integrating the GCCS-J functionality into new baselines
