The company is looking for a Software Engineer to help develop and implement a modern phone system that fits the needs for small- to medium-sized businesses, and to create tools that customers and internal employees can use to better facilitate onboarding products.
Requirements
- Coding with Elixir and Liveview and at least one modern language such as Python, Go, Ruby, or related;
- Front end development and web programming using React and (TypeScript or JavaScript);
- Databases (Postgres, MySQL), APIs, and web infrastructure using AWS, Kafka;
- Coding with elixir applications using GraphQL, Phoenix, Ecto, Postgres, and ExUnit in micro-services architecture;
- Integrating fintech software products and using RabbitMQ message broker and Oban to handle message queuing;
- Monitoring tools and incident management tools such as Datadog, Grafana, Kibana, OpsGenie, Teraform, and using dev tools such as Gitlab;
- Developing and implementing related software using domain specific hardware such as card readers, payment devices, Grandstream, and Yealink phones devices.
Responsibilities
- Perform hands on software engineering and development activities on the company’s phone products that allows customers to make and receive calls. This also includes working with phones hardware, third party systems, and other products.
- Build, implement, and scale internal tooling and software infrastructure.
- Engineer and test software code at all stages of the development lifecycle.
- Use OpenAI and AI productivity tools to enhance efficiency with software development.
- Develop and implement a modern phone system that fits the needs for small- to medium-sized businesses.
- Create tools that customers and internal employees can use to better facilitate onboarding products.
- Provide code reviews for others on the team.

- Master’s degree or equivalent foreign education
