Requirements

  • Hands-on exploration of software development tools and techniques
  • Object-oriented design including interfaces, polymorphism, encapsulation, abstract data types, pre-/post-conditions
  • Use of Java or Java Collections, C++ or STL
  • High-performance data structures and supporting algorithms
  • NoSQL databases and object storage using HDFS, CephFS, HBASE, MongoDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB, S3, and Swift
  • MapReduce, Spark and GraphLab programming models
  • Work with cloud storage systems, and develop applications in several programming paradigms

Responsibilities

  • Build the next-generation, world-class digital subscription platform, leveraging C++ and PHP as core technologies.
  • Design and implement subscription capabilities from the ground up, with a focus on quality, reliability, and maintainability.
  • Deliver exceptional user experiences by developing and maintaining complex, scalable systems that perform seamlessly.
  • Continuously optimize and refactor code to enhance performance, security, and usability.
  • Collaborate with a diverse array of product teams, product managers, and cross-functional partners to ensure the platform remains cutting-edge and aligned with the latest trends and innovations in subscription systems and the broader technology ecosystem.

  • Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Entertainment Technology, Applied Science, Mathematics, Physics, or related fields.
