Base-2 Solutions is seeking a Software Engineer 2 to develop and maintain an existing enterprise application using Java, JavaScript, and AWS, and to design, optimize, and query data efficiently using MongoDB and AWS database solutions.

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain an existing enterprise application using Java
- Create dynamic and responsive user interfaces using JavaScript
- Manage and deploy scalable cloud-based solutions using AWS services such as EC2, S3, and Lambda
- Design, optimize, and query data efficiently using MongoDB and AWS database solutions
- Utilize Ansible, CDK, and git for software development and deployment
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues using strong problem-solving abilities
- Collaborate with team members to ensure software development best practices are followed
Other
- Fourteen (14) years experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university
- Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree
- US Citizenship is required
- Top Secret/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph security clearance is required
