McKesson Pharmacy Systems (MPS) is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer to join their EnterpriseRx Software Development team to develop and enhance integrated pharmacy software solutions for the healthcare industry, aiming to improve pharmacy workflow and increase revenue for pharmacies.
Requirements
- 4+ years’ experience in software engineering
- 3+ years’ experience with Java / Object-Oriented software engineering and RESTful services
- 3+ years’ experience with relational databases (such as Oracle) and Structured Query Language (SQL)
- Experience with RESTful API architecture and development
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
- Knowledge of web development and an MVC framework such as Angular
- Knowledge of web services and corresponding frameworks such as Spring Boot
Responsibilities
- Deliver high quality software that exceeds customer expectations
- Actively participate in the development of User Stories
- Develop features and functionality that meets user story acceptance criteria.
- Participate in technical design and code reviews
- Creatively investigate and remediate customer facing issues and defects
- Participate in ongoing software and process improvement initiatives that seek to reduce effort for our customers and ourselves
- Develop and execute unit/integration tests
