Autodesk is looking for a software engineer to help define and develop technologies for their manufacturing products, addressing real problems for users and contributing to the success of a Scrum team.
Requirements
- Experience with object-oriented programming, ideally C++
- C++, including the standard library, Qt and Boost
- User interface design and development
- Git or similar source code revision control systems
- Writing software in a commercial environment as part of a team
- Knowledge about CAD/CAM
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with teams of engineers to design, plan, develop, refactor, test, deliver and maintain complex features and new subsystems
- Produce clean, maintainable, well-documented code in adherence with internal standards
- Troubleshoot and debug code in an efficient and systematic manner
- Actively participate in a Scrum team while adhering to Agile methodologies
- Work alongside senior software engineers to develop industry leading solutions
Other
- BS or higher in Computer Science (preferred), Mathematics, or Engineering
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical skills, with a passion to learn
