Requirements
- Experience with software design and development using languages such as Python, C-Sharp, C, C++, or Java
- Experience working within Agile development environments
- Experience with cloud computing platforms like AWS
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with web development frameworks
- Experience with DevOps tools
- Knowledge of computer engineering, software engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or a related technical field
Responsibilities
- Lead the development, documentation, and maintenance of software architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces, and designs for complex systems.
- Drive the coding, integration, and testing of software components to ensure seamless functionality within comprehensive systems.
- Create and execute verification plans, test procedures, and environments, meticulously documenting results to meet software requirements.
- Provide technical leadership across projects, guiding teams and managing software suppliers to adhere to quality standards and project timelines.
- Develop, select, and implement processes, tools, and metrics to optimize software development workflows.
- Plan, execute, and oversee research and development initiatives to innovate and improve software capabilities.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in software domains, addressing system-specific issues, regulatory compliance, and industry standards.
Other
- A bachelor’s, master’s, or doctorate degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related technical field is preferred
- U.S. citizenship is mandatory for this role
- Ability to obtain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is mandatory for this role
- At least 7 years of experience in software design and development
- At least 3 years of experience working within Agile development environments
