Zoom is looking to hire a Senior Full Stack Engineer to shape the future of workplace collaboration by designing and developing high-impact, scalable services and responsive, world-class user interfaces that power Zoom, used by millions globally.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building responsive user interfaces with React and JavaScript/TypeScript.
- 5+ years of experience with enterprise-level web applications, including frontend/backend systems, APIs, and SDKs using Spring MVC or Spring Boot.
- Have deep Java development skills, including IO, concurrency, and multi-threaded programming.
- Have experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP, with a deep understanding of scalable and secure deployments.
- Demonstrate experience with relational and NoSQL databases, including MySQL, DynamoDB, MongoDB, and Elasticsearch.
- Have expertise building and deploying tools like Webpack, Vite, maven, Gradle, Git, Jenkins etc.
- Have experience with unit testing, automation, and AI-powered developer tools for productivity, debugging, or prototyping. Building agent workflows/features, working with Large language Models.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop responsive, best-in-class user interfaces across platforms using modern frontend technologies like React, Vue.js, JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, and CSS3.
- Architect and build robust backend services using Java and Spring Boot, ensuring secure and scalable systems on cloud infrastructure (AWS, microservices, RESTful APIs, NoSQL).
- Lead cloud-based test automation and deployment strategies using AWS services (e.g., EC2, ECS, S3, ElasticCache) to optimize performance and platform reliability.
- Create metrics and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making for both technical and business stakeholders.
- Triage and resolve critical customer issues, collaborating with support teams to ensure seamless user experiences.
- Partner with product management to define product requirements and translate the roadmap into actionable features and deliverables.
- Establish and maintain best-in-class engineering processes, coding standards, and best practices to ensure high-quality development.
