Requirements
- Proficiency in Software Engineering tools.
- Familiarity with the software development life cycle (SDLC) from preliminary system analysis to tests and deployment.
- Knowledge of coding standards and technical design.
- Ability to create, access, and maintain relational database schema.
- Experience with various programming languages.
- Understanding of system functionality and user requirements.
- Familiarity with software development methodologies and tools.
Responsibilities
- Analyze the needs of the user.
- Design, test and develop the software to meet those needs.
- Develop separate elements of software that work well in the program as a whole.
- Create various diagrams, flowcharts and models that illustrate the type of code needed for programmers.
- Ensure continued functionality of a program during maintenance and testing of software.
- Document each aspect of the system or application as a reference for future upgrades and maintenance.
- Revisit the development process to fix bugs or address clients or consume concerns.
Other
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field (or equivalent experience in the field).
- 3-5 years of experience is preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced ecommerce retail environment.
