SilverEdge is seeking a Software Engineer to develop innovative and effective solutions for the Department of Defense (DoD) customers within the Intelligence Community (IC) sector, addressing mission-critical challenges through cyber, software, and intelligence solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degrees in computer science are preferred with a minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience.
- Infrastructure as a code language (Ansible, Puppet, or Chef as examples).
- Eclipse developmental duties, Git Hub, Dev Ops, Java and Python.
- Experience in security review of applications and infrastructure.
- 3+ Years experience participating in agile activities.
- Experience in Cloud based services.
- Experience with infrastructure automation technologies like Docker, Vagrant, etc.
Responsibilities
- Developing innovative and effective solutions for DoD customers within the IC sector.
- Providing engineering services for network infrastructure and sophisticated enterprise computing infrastructure.
- Supporting modern application technology including containerized solutions with orchestrated workflow.
- Managing infrastructure as a code language (Ansible, Puppet, or Chef).
- Participating in agile activities.
- Conducting security reviews of applications and infrastructure.
- Researching new technologies in object-oriented programming.
Other
- Government issued clearance and poly are required.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degrees in computer science are preferred.
- Works well in an engineering team environment with other teammates who have varied skill levels.
