LEYBOLD USA INC is looking for a Software Engineer to support Project Engineers in developing software interfaces for vacuum systems and control panels.
Requirements
- Experience with Siemens WinCC and CMore Automation Direct (preferred).
- Proficient in MS Office; AutoCAD or Eplan experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Program PLCs (Allen-Bradley RSLogix 500/5000) and operator interface software.
- Integrate controls with fieldbus and Ethernet networks (e.g., Profibus, EtherNet/IP).
- Understand motor control, BOMs, and electrical drawings.
- Assist sales and engineering teams with equipment specs and support.
- Troubleshoot and commission systems in the field.
- Implement changes to improve product reliability and resolve issues.
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in electrical/software system design.
- Customer-focused, collaborative, and detail-oriented.
- Willing to travel up to 25%.
- This role requires you to work on-site at our office in Export, PA, United States.
