Requirements
- Proficiency in at least 1 modern web development language (Python, Javascript, Go, etc.)
- Experience working in a collaborative team environment with shared projects
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Strong analytical and product management skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Excellent development and leadership abilities
- Ability to work and not compromise our high standards of professional ethics, honesty, and transparency in all interactions
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the ongoing evolution of the existing and new applications and services
- Analyze current operational procedures and identify opportunities for improvement
- Write a detailed description of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify applications
- Assist in the creation of custom APIs
- Review code written by other members of the software engineering team
- Design, develop, modify, implement, and support software components
- Determine the root cause for the most complex software issues and develop practical, efficient, and permanent technical solutions
Other
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience
- 1-3 years of experience in a web development role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts
- Able to assume and complete assignments with minimal guidance
- Must be able to work in a high-pressure team environment, handle multiple tasks, and react quickly to software problems and issues
