This role is responsible for the development, management and maintenance of software tools and applications to support these initiatives.
Requirements
- Analysis and design of object-oriented solutions.
- Server-side: Proficiency with C-Sharp, .NET Core.
- Client-side: Proficiency with React, REST API, JSX, JSON, Typescript, Javascript and CSS.
- Experience with SQL like MS SQL Server or PostgreSQL (including spatial data): Complex queries, data modeling, data management, data manipulation and performance tuning.
- Entity Framework Core (LINQ).
- LDAP.
- AWS Experience
- Version control (GitHub).
- Experience with Unit Testing or Automated Testing
- DevOps
- Graph theory knowledge.
- JIRA project management.
- SharePoint management.
- Experience with Python
Responsibilities
- Lead the development, implementation and maintenance of the Integrated System Planning Tools across Avangrid.
- Provide technical direction and support to the development team, including code reviews, design discussions, and troubleshooting
- Mentor and provide technical support to other team members
- Provide technical support and training to the users of the tools.
- Coordinate with other departments during the development of tools
- Identify and implement best practices and process improvements to enhance the efficiency and quality of the development process.
- Provide technical assistance and consulting to other departments as necessary.
