The Command, Control, Communications and Intelligence Simulation (C3ISim) team is seeking a software engineer to support the development of a high-fidelity Monte Carlo simulation used to model defense scenarios for tactical applications.
Requirements
- Experience in software engineering for simulation development.
- Knowledge of C3I systems and their integration.
- Experience with Monte Carlo simulation techniques.
- Ability to model defense scenarios for tactical applications.
- Experience with system performance evaluation and verification.
- Familiarity with radar, sensor management, threat evaluation, and weapon control systems.
Responsibilities
- Design, integrate, and test C3I simulation components that enable prototyping of new ship designs, evaluation of system performance, and system verification.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in radar, sensor management, threat evaluation, and weapon control to ensure accurate representation of functional controls and track-processing logic.
