ManTech seeks a Senior Software Engineer to develop, maintain, and improve intricate software systems in accordance with specified requirements.
Requirements
- Experience with JavaScript, HTML, Script Includes, Custom Scripts, and CSS (Example: Customer Entry Portals)
- Experience with ServiceNow
- Experience with DevOps scripting tools
- Experience with jQuery, AngularJS, JSON, and Jelly
- Advanced skills such as workflow automation and custom application development
- Experience with design and implementations of ServiceNow integrations and interfaces with 3rd party applications and data sources using extensible markup language (XML), Email web services, JAVA DB connectivity, LDAP, REST, ODBC, MariaDB, and Excel
- Ability to troubleshoot system and responsible for Tier(s) 1-3
Responsibilities
- The Software Engineer develops, maintains, and enhances complex and diverse software systems (e.g., processing-intensive analytics, novel algorithm development, manipulation of extremely large data sets, real-time systems, and business management information systems) based upon documented requirements.
- Reviews and tests software components for adherence to the design requirements and documents test results.
- Resolves software problem reports.
- Utilizes software development and software design methodologies appropriate to the development environment.
- Provides specific input to the software components of system design to include hardware/software trade-offs, software reuse, use of Commercial Off-the-shelf (COTS)/Government Off-the-shelf (GOTS) in place of new development, and requirements analysis and synthesis from system level to individual software components.
- Ability to create and configure business rules, UI policies/actions, client/server-side scripts, script includes, and ACLs
- Monitor the health, usage, and overall compliance of ServiceNow and applications

- 3 years of total experience
- 1+ years of software engineering experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Must have a current/active TS/SCI with Poly
- Experience with SCRUM/Agile Board 2.0 development methodologies
