EverWatch is looking for a software engineer to lead a team in developing efficient and effective software solutions from vision to production in an agile environment, addressing critical US Government mission challenges.
Requirements
- Experience developing, maintaining, and enhancing complex and diverse software systems (e.g., processing-intensive analytics, novel algorithm development, manipulation of extremely large data sets, real-time systems, and business management information systems) based upon documented requirements
- Experience reviewing and testing software components for adherence to the design requirements and documents test results
- Experience resolving software problem reports
- Experience providing specific input to the software components of system design to include hardware/software trade offs, software reuse, use of Commercial Off-the-shelf (COTS)/Government Off-the-shelf (GOTS) in place of new development, and requirements analysis and synthesis from system level to individual software components
- Experience with UI Development
- Experience with distributed processing technologies such as Spark, Dask, or Ray for data processing ETL workflows
- Experience with SQL, Elasticsearch, and Vector databases

- Ability to serve as team lead at the level appropriate to the software development process being used on any particular project
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
- Bachelor's degree and 20+ years of experience as a software engineer, or Master's degree and 16+ years of experience as a software engineer
