The Alaka’ina Foundation Family of Companies (FOCs) is looking for a Software Engineer (SWE) to provide support for our government customer program out of Orlando, Florida.
Requirements
- Experience with frameworks like WPF or WinForms, ASP.NET or .NET Core.
- Experience in developing mobile applications (Xamarin, MAUI, or related frameworks).
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.
- Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server) and ORM frameworks (e.g., Entity Framework).
- Experience with source control systems (e.g., Git, TFS).
- Ability to grasp new concepts quickly
- Ability to work independently in a team environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain software solutions for desktop, web, and mobile platforms using C-Sharp and related technologies.
- Develop and integrate user interfaces (UIs) that are intuitive and align with user requirements.
- Test, debug, and optimize code to ensure application performance, scalability, and stability.
- Support and develop test plans and test cases.
- Ensure software quality, including writing and maintaining unit tests.
- Achieve organizational goals while adhering to standards and best practice.
- Maintain and update existing software applications to meet new business needs or technological advancements.

- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology (IT), Engineering, or similar discipline. [Ten (10) years of direct experience may substitute in lieu of a degree.]
