Scholarly is building the next generation of AI-powered software for higher education to become the AI-native system of record for faculty data, unifying fragmented workflows into a single, intelligent system to power annual reviews, promotion & tenure, appointment tracking, and more, while eliminating manual data entry and improving decision-making for institutions.
Requirements
- 5 or more years of experience with Ruby on Rails or an equivalent web framework.
- Experience working with relational databases (MySQL, Postgres, etc.)
Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with fellow engineers to develop and maintain the Scholarly product.
- Participate in the on-call rotation.
- Weigh in on product decisions and.
- Those implementing designs and customer requests are left with a lot of nuance and discretion, and we expect our engineers to think critically about the different product tradeoffs we might be making.
