Proconex is looking to solve the problem of developing and maintaining business applications, specifically IFS Applications, and integrating them with business processes.
Requirements
- Experience with Python programming or similar object-oriented programming languages.
- Experience with writing scripts for applications and operating systems, debugging existing scripts, and providing first-level support to solve a range of IT issues.
- Familiarity with ERP modules, data management, system implementation, and customization to meet specific business needs.
- Strong knowledge of general database structures.
- Two or more years of experience with SQL/PLSQL programming and SSRS (SQL Reporting Services).
- Two or more years of experience with database structures such as Oracle, MS-SQL, and/or MS Access and Power BI or other data visualization platforms.
- Basic understanding of Linux operating system and containerized applications.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of business applications while ensuring seamless integration with business processes.
- Customize IFS solutions, design and develop custom web applications, and enhance system functionality.
- Learning to implement lobby design, custom fields, projections, and integrations to enhance user experience.
- Assisting in developing and maintaining IFS Applications, focusing on custom events, page configurations, and process automation.
- Supporting customization of IFS Cloud interfaces under the guidance of senior team members and business partners.
- Assisting in analyzing and debugging IFS-related issues, including basic troubleshooting.
- Learning to develop and optimize SQL queries and assisting Business Analysts in working with Oracle databases to support IFS Applications.
Other
- Bachelor's degree or associate's degree in computer science, computer engineering, information systems or similar discipline with two or more years of relevant experience OR high school diploma with four or more years of relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to proactively identify business needs and to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues through creative problem solving.
- Ability to effectively communicate (written and verbal) with internal customers and co-workers.
