ManTech seeks a Software Engineer to support the development and enhancement of software systems that disseminate critical data across the Intelligence Community.
Requirements
- Experience with software analysis, design, development, and debugging
- Experience with documentation practices and development process improvements
- Experience with software integration and operational system deployment
- Experience with test planning, execution, and validation procedures
- Java, C/C++, JavaScript (jQuery/Angular), HTML, CSS
- Linux, Windows, Solaris, VMWare
- JBoss, WebLogic, Tomcat, SOAP, RESTful APIs, UI frameworks
Responsibilities
- Review and test software components to ensure quality and performance
- Resolve software issues and defects efficiently and effectively
- Analyze user requirements to derive system-level and software specifications
- Implement new features or enhancements in existing software systems
- Integrate software with modified or new operating environments
- Develop and execute test procedures for software validation
- Monitor system performance to ensure operational effectiveness
Other
- Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of relevant experience; an additional 4 years of relevant experience might be considered for a degree
- Must possess a current and active TS/SCI with Polygraph
- Ability to remain in a stationary position for up to 50% of the time
- Frequent use of computer systems and standard office equipment
- Regular communication with team members, managers, and customers, including presenting technical material as needed
