Proconex is looking for an ERP Developer to gain exposure to multiple programming languages, participate in significant projects, and benefit from Proconex resources, collaborating with experienced professionals to deepen understanding of IFS Cloud, Oracle/SQL, and Python programming.
Requirements
- Experience with Python programming or similar object-oriented programming languages.
- Experience with writing scripts for applications and operating systems, debugging existing scripts, and providing first-level support to solve a range of IT issues.
- Familiarity with ERP modules, data management, system implementation, and customization to meet specific business needs.
- Strong knowledge of general database structures.
- Two or more years of experience with SQL/PLSQL programming and SSRS (SQL Reporting Services).
- Two or more years of experience with database structures such as Oracle, MS-SQL, and/or MS Access and Power BI or other data visualization platforms.
- Two or more years of experience with Python, Javascript, Java, Go, or other robust programming languages.
Responsibilities
- Learning to implement lobby design, custom fields, projections, and integrations to enhance user experience.
- Assisting in developing and maintaining IFS Applications, focusing on custom events, page configurations, and process automation.
- Supporting customization of IFS Cloud interfaces under the guidance of senior team members and business partners.
- Assisting in analyzing and debugging IFS-related issues, including basic troubleshooting.
- Supporting event triggers, workflows, and background jobs under supervision.
- Learning to develop and optimize SQL queries and assisting Business Analysts in working with Oracle databases to support IFS Applications.
- Designing and implementing custom applications that meet the needs of internal customers.
Other
- Bachelor's degree or associate’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, information systems or similar discipline with two or more years of relevant experience OR high school diploma with four or more years of relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook email, and advanced computer skills.
- Ability to proactively identify business needs and to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues through creative problem solving.
- Strong ability to focus on internal customers’ needs and drive toward business goals.
- Ability to effectively communicate (written and verbal) with internal customers and co-workers.
