The Software Engineer will support the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) by performing software activities focused on assisting the Air Force move forward with digital transformation.
Requirements
- Experience with RESTful web services
- Experience with server-side languages, preference toward Python
- Experience with modern frontend JavaScript frameworks, preference toward Angular
- Experience with version control software (ex Git)
- Experience with bug/issue tracking software such as JIRA
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines utilizing Gitlab CI or Jenkins
- Experience with Docker (containerized deployment)
- Experience utilizing SQL and NoSQL Databases
Responsibilities
- Design and implement new capabilities
- Rapidly develop prototypes for customer feedback
- Resolve issues found in existing code
- Integrate capabilities with external services and tools
- Participate in code reviews and mentor team members
- Communicate status and technical details with customer
Other
- 3+ years experience
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or relevant STEM field
- Active TS/SCI security clearance
- Ability to communicate technical details of work
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment and take ownership for segments of a project
