Microsoft's Azure Data engineering team is leading the transformation of analytics in the world of data with products like databases, data integration, big data analytics, messaging & real-time analytics, and business intelligence, and is looking for a Software Engineer to solve engineering problems through code with the help of AI.
Requirements
- Proven experience coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C-Sharp, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- At least one year of Backend development experience
- Experience working with devops problems by leveraging LLM and Agentic AI (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Creates and implements code for a product, service, or feature, reusing code as applicable.
- Contributes to the development of automation within production and deployment of a complex product feature.
- Conducts and creates experimentation to determine the effectiveness of changes for prototyping and testing features, and applies findings back into development.
Other
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements
- Must pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter
- 2+ years technical engineering experience (preferred)
