Peraton is seeking to develop, integrate, and test advanced threat missile and radar simulation models used in high-fidelity defense simulations to directly impact national security
Requirements
- C++ or MatLab/Simulink experience
- Familiar with the AGILE process, with tools like JIRA, GitLab etc.
- Ability to write efficient code
Responsibilities
- Design and implement high-fidelity threat missile and radar simulation models that replicate real-world systems and behaviors
- Enhance and maintain existing models using advanced modeling and simulation tools in alignment with the Missile and Space Intelligence Center (MSIC) delivery schedule
- Integrate threat models into the JSE simulation architecture, performing thorough integration and regression testing to ensure operational performance and reliability
- Analyze simulation outputs, validate models against empirical data, and refine systems for improved realism and predictive accuracy
- Utilize technical data packages and intelligence sources to inform model development and contribute to test planning and execution
