Luminate is the preeminent entertainment data and insights company, and they are looking to hire full-stack software engineers to maintain and build out their SaaS platform for the music, film, and TV industries, while also supporting their data science team.

Requirements

  • Experience in developing with Java and Spring Boot services, as well as working in React front-ends with Typescript.
  • Understanding of API design and microservice architecture.
  • A strong commitment to test-driven development.
  • CI/CD experience, ideally with blue-green deployments for a SaaS product.
  • Best practices for development with public cloud environments, preferably AWS.
  • A solid foundation of computer science fundamentals and object-oriented design principles.
  • 2+ years of software engineering experience

Responsibilities

  • Working with your team to deliver on Luminate’s product roadmap utilizing modern software development practices, including cutting-edge AI development tools.
  • Developing not just the code, but all other parts of the stack: test suites, infrastructure, documentation, etc.
  • Assembling large, complex sets of data that meet non-functional and functional business requirements.
  • Working with stakeholders including data, design, product teams and assisting them with data-related technical issues.
  • Onboarding into our tooling and development ecosystem.
  • Learning about the domain of our business from your peers and incorporating that into the work you do going forward.
  • Collaborating with your teammates across the disciplines to start delivering value to our clients!

  • You will work with the Customer Experience team, composed of product managers, designers, and your fellow engineers to deliver a high-quality software platform that brings value to our customers in the music industry.

  • Hybrid Work - 4 In-Office Working days (Monday, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays) with flexibility to WFH when needed
