Microsoft is looking to hire a Software Engineer to help design, build, and operate cloud services that form the backbone of the M365 Copilot Experience, working on high-scale, distributed systems that enable advanced productivity features for users across the globe.
Requirements
- Proven experience coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C-Sharp, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- Experience in using agents/AI tools.
- Experience with Visual studio.
- Experience developing and maintaining backend systems.
- Demonstrated skills to work on large-scale, distributed systems.
- 1+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C-Sharp, Java, JavaScript, or Python

Responsibilities
- design, build, and operate cloud services that form the backbone of the M365 Copilot Experience
- work on high-scale, distributed systems that enable advanced productivity features for users across the globe
- deliver robust, efficient, and secure services in the Microsoft 365 and Azure ecosystem to meet OPG's core service needs
- Create and implement code for a product, service, or feature, reusing code as applicable.
- Act as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) working on-call to monitor system/product feature/service for degradation, downtime, or interruptions and gains approval to restore system/product/service for simple problems.
- Remain current in skills by investing time and effort into staying abreast of current developments that will improve the availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, and performance of products while also driving consistency in monitoring and operations at scale.

- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.
- This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
- Work with appropriate stakeholders to determine user requirements for a set of features.
