UnitedHealth Group is looking to hire tech professionals to help them design, build, and operate secure cloud platform services and software that meet business requirements to improve health outcomes by connecting people with the care, pharmacy benefits, data and resources they need.
Requirements
- 4+ years of hands-on experience with Java/J2EE (preferably Java 17 and above), Spring Boot, NoSQL Database, Docker/Kubernetes, GitHub
- 3+ years of experience with Agile/lean development practices
- 2+ years of experience working with Microservices and Event-driven architecture like Kafka
- 2+ years of experience with Cloud environments and architecture, preferably Azure
- 1+ years of engineering experience in building infrastructure using code (Terraform) and repeatable designs
- 1+ years of experience in automation of CI/CD and source control systems such as Git
- Experience with React, TypeScript, and React Native
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate secure cloud platform services and software that meet business requirements
- Develop and maintain both front-end and back-end components of web applications
- Implement front-end solutions using React, TypeScript, and React Native
- Develop backend applications using Java, Spring Boot, and NoSQL databases
- Demonstrate experience with the full development life cycle for large-scale software products, including extensive knowledge of service-oriented architectures, design patterns, data, and web services
- Independently perform coding and unit testing, and assist/mentor team members as needed, including conducting code reviews
- Understand performance parameters, debug, fix application performance issues, and address/resolve operations tickets within guided SLAs
Other
- High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with other engineers and offshore/global teams
- Understand product, project, and consumer priorities and follow Agile methodologies to deliver features within the specified timeline
- Partner with the business and enterprise architecture team to understand requirements and design/develop end-to-end solutions
