The company is seeking to migrate a legacy .NET consultant management system to a modern WordPress Multi-Site platform as part of a broader enterprise re-platforming initiative.
Requirements
- WordPress (3–5 years): Multi-Site architecture, plugin development, REST API, security, performance optimization
- Gutenberg/React (2–4 years): Custom block development, React fundamentals, ES6+, WordPress data layer
- Database & Integration (2–4 years): MySQL/MariaDB, REST APIs, ETL processes, Git workflows
- Enterprise Practices: CI/CD, code quality tools, Agile methodologies, documentation
- TypeScript
- WP-CLI
- AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot)
Responsibilities
- Build custom plugins and Gutenberg blocks
- Develop REST API endpoints
- Write unit/integration tests and participate in code reviews
- Support data migration from .NET/MSSQL to WordPress/MySQL
- Implement transformation and validation logic
- Document migration processes
- Integrate with external systems via REST APIs
Other
- Work with architects, QA, and project teams
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and communicate progress
- Legacy .NET/MSSQL familiarity (preferred)
