Varex Imaging is looking for a Software Engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and systems, contributing to moderately complex projects with minimal supervision.
Requirements
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C-Sharp, JavaScript, PhP).
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Knowledge of web, backend, or full-stack development is a plus.
- Proficient in utilizing business tools such as: E-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP product and productivity software desired.
Responsibilities
- Designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications and systems.
- Develop, test, & maintain scalable and efficient software solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and QA engineers.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C-Sharp, JavaScript, PhP).
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).

- 2+ years of related experience or Masters Degree with no or little experience.
- Light or sedentary work that will occasionally (1-33%) require the employee to lift/move up to 23 lbs.
- Reaching above and below the shoulder occasionally (1-33%).
- Above-average agility and dexterity with the ability to hold, grasp, and manipulate small parts and use hand and power tools occasionally (1-33%)
