Microsoft is looking to design and build modern fraud-detection infrastructure to protect products with speed, resilience and adaptivity, by leveraging large data volumes on the web and open-source technologies to drive and innovate product experiences for end-users.
Requirements
- Proven experience coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C-Sharp, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- Proven experience in data manipulation (SQL, Hadoop, Spark), NoSql DBs, and/ or BI Tools.
- Experience in designing, developing distributed systems on a cloud platform.
- Experience in streaming processing, familiar with Kafka, Spark, Flink tools.
- Experience in analyzing data to identify deliverables, gaps, and inconsistencies .
- Experience in bot and anomaly analysis and detection.
Responsibilities
- Designs, builds and owns the highly optimized architecture and systems for data and analytics pipelines, dashboards and metrics leveraging Azure and open source technologies .
- Builds core datasets as well as scalable and fault-tolerant pipelines .
- Builds data anomaly detection, identify trends and build metrics to measure anomaly impact and develop countermeasures to enhance product quality.
- Collaborates with cross functional partners including data scientists, product managers and software engineers to design and develop end-to-end data assets that help improve our products.
- Designs and build modern fraud-detection infrastructure to protect products with speed, resilience and adaptivity.
- Building scalable analytics/insights platform and set a high bar for performance and usability.
- Working on interesting and exciting use cases that combine mission critical user/usage/revenue data; processing at big data scale and need for generating real-time insights.
