nCino is looking for a Software Engineer to develop full-stack solutions that help financial institutions make data-driven decisions by transforming complex financial data into intuitive, actionable tools.

Requirements

  • TypeScript on the front end
  • AWS infrastructure
  • Java services
  • Knowledge of software design principles and development tools, technologies (languages, frameworks, etc.) and domains used
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language
  • Experience with web application development
  • Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, and testing

Responsibilities

  • develop full-stack solutions that help financial institutions make data-driven decisions.
  • build user-facing features that transform complex financial data into intuitive, actionable tools.
  • building new capabilities from the ground up
  • shaping product direction through hands-on development
  • contributing to an emerging fintech solution within nCino's established platform.
  • Contributes to CI/CD process including Automated Testing and enhancing the testing coverage of their product.
  • Leverage AI tools and techniques to enhance software development activities, including code generation, testing, debugging, and optimization.

Other

  • Support product refinement process such as the creation of tickets and analysis for development work.
  • Follow architectural decisions made by the team and understand the reasoning behind them.
  • Engage in brainstorming sessions to propose innovative ideas and solutions.
  • Be involved in proof-of-concept implementations and prototypes used to gather feedback and make informed decisions.
  • Express themselves clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences in written and verbal formats.
