Lockheed Martin Space is seeking to innovate, invest, inspire and integrate capabilities to transform the future of space, focusing on resiliency and urgency through their 21st Century Security® vision. They are developing new Long Range Hypersonic Weapon (LRHW) solutions and require a software engineer to support the LRHW software organization in coding, developing, and innovating technical solutions for soldier-utilized ground systems.
Requirements
- Experience with programming languages such as C, C++
- Experience with full software life cycle development including SW design, architecture and integration & test
- Real Time Operating System (RTOS) experience - (GreenHill or VxWorks)
- A strong background in Linux and VxWorks operating systems
- A strong background in embedded SW architecture
- Extensive experience in C++ programming
Responsibilities
- support the LRHW software engineering lifecycle following the program Software Development Plan (SDP) to include requirements analysis, object oriented analysis & design, code & unit test, integration, and support to formal test/delivery.
Other
- This position requires strong communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and in a team environment, and to interface with software developers, test engineers, system engineers, program management, quality assurance engineers, and customer representatives.
- Active Final Secret security clearance.
- This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
- Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
- Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
