Foxguard is looking to hire a software engineer to help protect and optimize critical infrastructure through customized cyber security, compliance, and industrial computing solutions.
Requirements
- Experience with object-oriented software development languages (C-Sharp/.Net, Java, C++, etc.)
- Working knowledge of DevOps culture, practices, and tools
- Continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) experience is preferred
- Experience with relational databases (SQL Server, MySQL), SQL Queries, ORM Frameworks (Entity Framework), Unit Testing, and Git
Responsibilities
- Working in a collaborative environment to develop internal-use and customer facing software products
- Working alongside the Product team to help define requirements and develop/refine user stories
- Participating in the agile ceremony to ensure active communication within the team and alignment with stakeholder expectations
- Collaborate with our software engineering team to develop and implement automated testing, document product defects, and assist with the creation of product release notes
- Contributing to the formation of engineering standards and software development best practices
Other
- Completion of a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or comparable experience in lieu of degree
- Collaborative mindset with a focus on quality practices
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with coworkers and stakeholders
- Independent worker with a high level of accountability
