Cimarron is seeking real-time Software Engineers to support an advanced aerospace development effort for the Phantom Works program, focusing on next-generation technologies for defense and flight systems. The role involves designing and developing Vehicle Management System (VMS) software for flight and subsystem control.
Requirements
- 5 or more years of experience with C/C++.
- 5 or more years of experience designing and developing software for both real-time and non-real-time systems.
- 5 or more years of experience with the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- 3 or more years of safety-critical software development experience.
- Experience with LOR-1, LOR-2 or DAL-A, DAL-B.
- Familiarity with MIL-HDBK-516C, MIL-STD-882E, and JSSSEH, DO-178C.
- Experience developing embedded real-time software.
Responsibilities
- Develop, document, and maintain architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces, and designs for software systems.
- Develop and maintain code, integrating software components into a fully functional software system.
- Create and execute test plans and procedures to verify that software meets all system requirements.
- Lead and mentor other team members on software engineering principles, design reviews, and process improvements.
- Support the generation and maintenance of software processes, tools, and metrics.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for real-time software design, safety-critical systems, and software certification processes.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver innovative, high-quality software solutions.
