Requirements
- proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, Python, or Ada
- Familiarity with the software development lifecycle, including Agile methodologies
- experience with version control tools like Git or SVN
- solid understanding of unit testing, integration testing, and system validation processes
- experience working on defense or aerospace software projects
- knowledge of open architecture systems
- knowledge of middleware technologies and communication protocols used in mission systems
Responsibilities
- Support the design, development, testing, and maintenance of software throughout its lifecycle, ensuring high quality and reliability.
- Assist the Product Owner in reviewing, analyzing, and translating customer requirements into detailed software designs and specifications.
- Develop, enhance, and optimize software functionalities, ensuring seamless system integration and performance.
- Document software architectures, interface specifications, algorithms, and test plans to facilitate clear communication and future maintenance.
- Participate in debugging and troubleshooting to resolve technical issues promptly, maintaining system stability and performance.
- Support the development of software processes, standards, and best practices to improve overall efficiency and quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure software solutions meet operational and security requirements.

- minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- at least five years of professional experience in software development
- ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Clearance
- Strong communication skills are essential for effective collaboration across multidisciplinary teams
